IPL, ELECTROLYSIS AND TATTOO REMOVAL

IPL for a range of treatments in Southampton

To achieve long lasting or permanent hair reduction, we destroy the hair follicle from which individual hairs grow. Well controlled pulses of light penetrate the upper skin layer and are absorbed by one of the body’s own natural chemicals – melanin – in the hair contained in the follicle.

How many treatments do I need?

Hair grows in three different cycles and the permanent hair reduction can only successfully treat hair during its growth stage.

Therefore it is often necessary to undergo a course of 6-8 treatments ensuring that you leave at least 6-8 weeks between each session initially, and then only repeat as and when the hair returns.

tattoo removal

Tattoo Removal

Tattoos are of two main types: the Indian ink, amateur tattoo or the multi-coloured, professional tattoo.

Single-colour tattoos usually respond best to laser tattoo removal.

Multi-coloured, professional tattoos are much more difficult to eradicate completely.

Black, blue, red and green colours in the tattoo respond best to treatment, but yellow and purple pigment can be more difficult.

Green and red coloured tattoos will require different lasers for successful treatment.Your tattoo will be assessed, and, in the majority of cases, laser tattoo removal will be recommended.
Skin tag removal

Thread Veins and Skin Tag removal

Thread veins are small, red blood vessels near the surface of the skin and are often found on the face.
We use the diarthermy electroysis method to cauterise the blood supply.
Skin tags are also removed in the same way by cauterising their blood supply.
The cost of these treatments are only £30 per session so why not call us today to find out more.

Skin revitalisation

Skin Revitalisation

An IPL (Intense Pulsed Light) device is used to deliver short, strong pulses of light which are precisely controlled, stimulating the fibroblast cells located within the skin, these cells produce collagen and elastin.

By using this device, more specific lesions can be located, such as freckles and age spots.

You skin will start to appear more radiant, reducing larger pores.
